Thanks to everyone who came to our Open Grave party on October 29th! It was a fun evening with costumes, food, drink, music, conversation, and art. Here are a few photos, enjoy!

Burnt Toast Studio was recently featured on the CTV Calgary Noon Show. See the interview here. Click the play button on the 'CTV News video player' in the right column. An excerpt from the accompanying article:

A special exhibition that showcases the talents of five artists who are part of a local independent artist collective is on at the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts.

Brad Snyder, Edwin Herrenschmidt, Alden Alfon, Shannon MacKinnon, and James Jensen are from Burnt Toast Studio and are exhibiting examples of their work in print, design and text.

The group works in several media including screen printing, relief printing, mixed media, papermaking, painting, and sculpture. The five artists were selected for their artistic quality and appeal to all ages and are promoting artistic dialogue within our city.

Congrats to all the show's participants! Special thanks to Joanne Birce, Producer of the CTV Calgary Noon Show, and Reg Hampton for a great interview.

A huge thank you to Tammy McGrath (We (heart) Tammy) for the opportunity to showcase our work in such a high volume venue! The Windows Gallery gets thousands of passerby traffic, and needless to say that during the summer months (and Stampede), the pedestrian traffic volume is exponentially higher! What a great exposure for the studio!

Here are a couple of pictures taken with an iPhone during set-up! More to come!

Don't know where the Windows Gallery is located? No problem, here's a map!
